since 21/04/2005 Bjelke-Petersen Physie has been involved in the fitness of young and not so young Australian girls for well over a century and now has a 'workout' for boys too! Physical Culture, affectionately known as "PHYSIE" is a set of exercises which include standing floor routines, aerobic warm-ups, basic ballet and modern dance, professionally choreographed to modern music for various age groups. Annual competitions are held nationally and locally for individuals and teams for all ages.
The routines are renewed annually and choreographed to develop: Physical Culture is extremely good for children. BjP physie members learn the relationship of movement to music, musical interpretation and rhythm .
Some other benefits are:
Learning physie improves confidence, gives a sense of achievement and helps to build self-esteem The Entrance Physie Club holds classes at several locations on the Central Coast of NSW. What is Physical Culture?
